Qantas pilots plan to strike for another 24 hours
Civil Aviation Resource Network News on February 18, 2024: According to Simpleflying reports, the dispute between Qantas subsidiary Network Aviation and some of its pilots is still continuing. The pilot union recommended that Qantas conduct another 24-hour strike. The strike is planned to be held on February 22 conduct.
On February 17, local time, the Australian Federation of Airline Pilots (AFAP) informed Qantas that its Network Aviation members would take further strike action starting after midnight on Thursday, February 22.
Pilots have begun a six-day rolling strike, which started as a 24-hour shutdown but grew into a full strike from Wednesday, February 14, to Monday, February 19.

Qantas has committed significant resources to responding to the current six-day strike, and by all accounts these measures are going a long way to easing the planned disruption expected by AFAP pilots.
